  1. She is an amazing girl. And she would be an amazing teacher (or anything else, for that matter). She learns from someone who is incredibly amazing herself, her mother. You continue to inspire me in so many ways. Thank you for all you do and for sharing with so many!

  2. I remember when I first held Katie, your newborn child, and I smelled the soft unmistakable smell of a newborn and it threw me back 30 years to when her mother was a newborn in her proud father’s arms. She was the same as her mother. She is still just like her mother and also unique to herself. Her grandfather is just as proud of her as he is of her wonderful mother.
No matter what Katie does in life it will be remarkable.
You always make my heart hurt with my love for you and yours.

  3. Katie is already a blessing and will continue to become more and more a blessing to others because of what she’s learned through her sister. I’m sure this is why my kids are more aware and sensitive to others, especially with special needs.

  4. When someone tells me that I’m lucky Jack doesn’t have a sibling because it would be too unfair to him … (honestly, people) … I’m going to tell them about Katie. She is the bestest.
