one million strong

One million people

One million people who care about autism

One million people who are there for one another

One million people who are there for our kids

One million people who know what it means to walk in our shoes

One million people who come together to find answers

To share strength

To create community

To build hope

One million people

To change the world

  1. I’m following this on Facebook and saw Ali’s video last night. It’s fantastic–as is Ali and the work she’s done. I’m proud to be one of the million.

    Love you,
    Mom

  2. Jess you are a big part of spreading the awareness. Thank you for all that you do with the diary – Autism Speaks and the Diary are my life lines in this big old world of autism.

  3. I am so proud of Ali and the whole team at Autism Speaks…..to have reached so many people is truly an accomplishment! I spent the evening with her at a Ranger game (fun) and she was so excited and very emotional about the million.
Thank you Jess for all you do “spreading the word and the love.”
    xoxo

  4. Jess,

Thanks for transcribing the words from our video… I got chills reading them. We’ve learned so much as a team inside Autism Speaks over the past few years and having people like Ali help lead the charge from “inside” is incredibly wonderful. Thank you and for what YOU do on a daily basis.

    • Jess always does such an amazing job of sharing the good work of Autism Speaks with all of us. We are so lucky to have her! I love that she relates important information about timely events and successes on the awareness and advocacy fronts with such eloquence and passion.

      Her words are powerful.

  5. Jess – thank you. I am so lucky to be part of an organization where everyone works so hard to make the lives of people affected by autism better. I have been at this autism thing for a while(25 years to be exact) and I have met some of the most wonderful people along the way. You my dear friend, are at the top of the list.
